Emirates NBD first bank in the Middle East to receive Parksmart Gold certification

Has been operating in UAE since 2010, Salimus provides commissioning services for Estidama, LEED, Mostadam, Dubai Green Building Requirements – Al Sa’afat and many other certification bodies, in addition to building envelope testing & commissioning services. The team includes Estidama Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA) & LEED Commissioning Authority (CxA) engineers, AEE-Certified Energy Managers (CEMs), Energy Auditors, Professional Engineers (PE), ATTMA-Certified Air Tightness Testers, and ASHRAE-Certified Building Commissioning Professionals (BCxP).

Salimus was appointed as the Commissioning Authority (CxA) and the Park Smart Sustainability Consultant for this prestigious project, and successfully supported Emirates NBD from early stages of design until the completion of construction in obtaining the First Parksmart Gold Certification in the Middle East for its parking facility in Nad Al Sheba, and the first parking facility outside of the United States to achieve this prestigious certification, and the seventh globally only.

Parksmart, formerly Green Garage Certification, is the world’s only certification program that defines, measures and recognizes high-performing, sustainable garages. Developed by industry experts, Parksmart offers a roadmap for new and existing parking facilities to use innovative, solutions-oriented strategies, advancing sustainable mobility and positive impact through smarter, best practice parking structure design and operation.

This success truly underscores Emirates NBD commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. It is now considered an important milestone in the sustainability journey for the Bank and for Dubai on a global level or recognition.
